The product I recieved appeared as if it had been previously used, with the wood containing numerous dents in it. The box had no sealant stickers and was damaged, and the product inside the box was dusty and dirty and needed a good clean before use. With regards to the functionality of the product to teach colour mixing, the red colour was too dark/over powering, that overlapping the yellow and red tail feathers simply resulted in the colour remaining red. Similarly, overlapping the red and blue tail feathers, once again just resulted in red. Blue and yellow worked to make green, but other colour combinations also did not work, for example green and yellow should mix to make a lime green, but unfortunately there was really no change in the resultant green colour. Therefore, I would not recommend this as a toy for teaching colour mixing.
